According to reports from Tom Pelissero and Adam Schefter, the Baltimore Ravens are hiring Declan Doyle as their new offensive coordinator. At just 29 years old, Doyle will now be fully in charge of running Baltimore’s offense.
Doyle comes from the Chicago Bears, where he held the offensive coordinator title but did not call plays. Before that, he worked on Sean Payton’s staff in Denver, building a reputation as a fast-rising offensive mind.
The move is significant because Doyle is leaving Chicago specifically for play-calling responsibility. In Baltimore, he will run the offense under first-year head coach Jesse Minter, giving the Ravens a young coordinator with full control on game days.
