ATLANTA — The EasySportz NFL expert released team-by-team grades for all 32 clubs in the 2026 draft, with the Atlanta Falcons earning a B+ for their class despite limited draft capital.
Atlanta entered the draft without a first-round pick after a prior trade with the Los Angeles Rams, but still managed a haul that drew positive marks from the in-house analyst.
The Falcons selected Avieon Terrell in the second round, followed by fan favorite Zachariah Branch in the third. The class continued with Kendal Daniels in the fourth, Anterio Thompson and Harold Perkins Jr. in the sixth and Ethan Onianwa in the seventh.
Our analyst praised Atlanta’s ability to find value throughout the draft, particularly highlighting the mix of defensive upside and offensive playmaking potential despite the lack of a Day 1 selection.
Branch stood out as a key pickup, bringing immediate excitement as a dynamic playmaker and Georgia fan favorite. Terrell’s selection also drew attention given his family ties and upside in the secondary.
Late-round additions added depth and developmental potential across multiple positions, giving Atlanta a balanced overall class.
The EasySportz evaluation noted that while the Falcons lacked a marquee first-round name, their steady approach and value-driven selections justified the B+ grade.
Atlanta now heads into offseason workouts with a class the analyst believes can contribute early — even without the flash of a top pick.
