LONG POND, Pa. — The NASCAR Xfinity Series takes center stage at Pocono Raceway on Saturday, June 21, 2025, for the Explore the Pocono Mountains 250. This marks the 10th Xfinity Series race at the “Tricky Triangle” since 2016, with Austin Hill as the only past Pocono winner in the field. The event follows an international race in Mexico City, featuring a 38-car entry list, including Chase Elliott in the No. 17 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet.

Pocono’s 2.5-mile tri-oval, located in Long Pond, Pennsylvania, challenges drivers with its unique three-turn design: Turn 1 at 14 degrees, Turn 2 at 8 degrees, and Turn 3 at 6 degrees. The 250-mile race spans 100 laps, with Stage 1 ending at Lap 25, Stage 2 at Lap 50, and the final stage at Lap 100. The track’s long frontstretch (3,740 feet) and varied corners demand precision and strategy.
Fans can watch the race live on The CW at 3:30 p.m. EDT, with pre-race coverage starting at 3 p.m. Practice and qualifying air on The CW App at 10 a.m. and 11:05 a.m., respectively. Motor Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90) will provide radio coverage starting at 3 p.m. The green flag waves at 3:40 p.m.
The weekend schedule offers fan-friendly activities. Gates, Fan Fair, and the paddock open at 8 a.m. Saturday. A JR Motorsports driver autograph session with Carson Kvapil, Justin Allgaier, Sammy Smith, and Connor Zilisch is set for 12:30 p.m. at the JR Motorsports/HMS souvenir rig. The RFK Racing Wellness Walk starts at 6 p.m. on the frontstretch, open to all with paddock passes or grandstand tickets (wristbands required for grandstand holders). Tickets are available at poconoraceway.com, with free admission for kids 12 and under to the 100 and 200 grandstand levels and Fan Fair. Children also camp free all week.
Weather forecasts predict a high of 81 degrees with a 3% chance of rain at race start, under partly cloudy skies with winds from the west to southwest at 5 to 10 mph. The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau sponsors the event, highlighting the region’s attractions. With no cars missing the race due to the 38-car field, expect intense competition as Justin Allgaier, leading with 587 points, and others vie for playoff positioning.
