CHICAGO — The Chicago Bears are reshaping their roster, trading wide receiver DJ Moore to the Buffalo Bills in a move that clears significant salary cap space ahead of free agency.
Under the reported terms, Buffalo receives Moore and a 2026 fifth-round pick, while Chicago acquires a 2026 second-round pick.
The deal also frees approximately $16.5 million in 2026 salary cap space for Chicago, giving the front office flexibility to address other needs this offseason.
Moore, 28, spent three seasons with the Bears and totaled 244 receptions for 3,012 yards and 20 touchdowns during his time in Chicago.
For Buffalo, the move gives quarterback Josh Allen a proven top receiving option. For Chicago, it signals a shift toward a younger offensive core built around quarterback Caleb Williams and emerging pass catchers.
