The Pittsburgh Steelers delivered an impressive performance Sunday, defeating the Cleveland Browns 27-6 at Acrisure Stadium. Pittsburgh controlled the game on both sides of the football, earning an important AFC North victory and moving into sole possession of first place in the division.

The Steelers improved to 6-2 with their fourth consecutive win, while Cleveland dropped to 5-3. Pittsburgh also extended its regular-season home winning streak against the Browns to 23 games.

Jaylen Warren Leads the Offense

Running back Jaylen Warren was the star of the afternoon, rushing for 143 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. Warren consistently found openings against Cleveland’s defense and helped Pittsburgh control the tempo.

Rico Dowdle also contributed with 56 rushing yards and a touchdown. Tight end Pat Freiermuth added a rushing touchdown of his own, giving Pittsburgh three rushing scores.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers finished with 172 passing yards, completing 13 of 25 attempts with one interception. One of his biggest plays came on a 58-yard connection with Darnell Washington, who finished with 94 receiving yards.

Steelers Defense Takes Over

Pittsburgh’s defense was just as impressive, recording eight sacks and forcing two turnovers. T.J. Watt led the way with two sacks, while Patrick Queen contributed 1.5 sacks, 10 tackles and a forced fumble.

The Steelers consistently pressured Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, making it difficult for Cleveland to establish any offensive rhythm.

Watson finished with 324 passing yards but could not lead the Browns into the end zone. Cleveland managed just 34 rushing yards, showing how dominant Pittsburgh was against the run.

Pittsburgh Takes Control of the AFC North

This victory could be an important turning point for Pittsburgh’s season. The Steelers have now won four straight games and moved ahead of Cleveland in the AFC North standings.

With Rodgers leading the offense and the defense continuing to create pressure, Pittsburgh is beginning to look like a serious contender.

The Steelers took care of business against their biggest division rival, and their dominant 27-6 victory sends a message to the rest of the AFC North.
