ANGEL REESE FANS ARE NOT GOING TO LIKE THIS QUESTION. 👀
At what point do we stop talking about Angel Reese’s potential and start judging her by what she actually delivers on the court?
Reese has become one of the most recognizable players in the WNBA. She gets headlines, commands attention on social media and has a fan base that will defend her against just about anybody.
But recognition and basketball production are two different things.
Her seven-point performance in Atlanta’s Game 5 loss to Golden State has raised serious questions. The Dream are now one loss away from elimination, and their star needs to give them more offensively.
Yes, Reese rebounds. Yes, she plays physically. And yes, she has already delivered huge performances in this series.
But superstars are expected to show up when the stakes are highest. They cannot rely on past performances forever.
So here’s the question: Is Angel Reese already a true WNBA superstar, or has her celebrity gotten ahead of her basketball game?
