The Kansas City Chiefs remained undefeated Sunday, defeating the Miami Dolphins 24-10 at Hard Rock Stadium.

Kansas City improved to 3-0 with the victory, while Miami fell to 0-3. The Chiefs did not have their best offensive performance of the season, but Patrick Mahomes and the defense made enough plays to secure another win.

Mahomes Leads the Way

Mahomes finished the afternoon 20-of-24 passing for 246 yards and two touchdowns.

The Chiefs quarterback connected with Kenneth Walker III for a five-yard touchdown in the second quarter before finding Travis Kelce for an 11-yard score late in the fourth quarter.

Kelce’s touchdown gave Kansas City some breathing room and helped put the game away.

Walker Makes an Impact

Walker continued his strong start to the season after joining Kansas City.

He rushed for 70 yards on 18 carries and scored a rushing touchdown, while also catching Mahomes’ first touchdown pass of the afternoon.

His ability to contribute both on the ground and through the air gave Kansas City another weapon for the Dolphins defense to handle.

Chiefs Defense Comes Through

Kansas City’s defense also delivered several important plays.

George Karlaftis intercepted Dolphins quarterback Malik Willis, while Nick Bolton led the Chiefs with 11 tackles.

Miami struggled to consistently move the ball, and the Chiefs held the Dolphins to just 10 points.

Miami also lost star running back De’Von Achane to a knee injury on the opening drive, forcing the Dolphins to adjust their offense early.

Chiefs Move to 3-0

Kansas City has now won its first three games of the season and remains one of the NFL’s undefeated teams.

The Chiefs will look to keep their perfect record alive when they travel to face the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4.

Miami, meanwhile, drops to 0-3 and will look to turn its season around after another difficult loss.

The Chiefs may not have dominated from start to finish, but they made the plays they needed to come away with a 24-10 road victory.
