Angel Reese has already experienced championship glory in college, and now she’s on the doorstep of doing it again at the professional level.
The Atlanta Dream are heading into Game 7 of the WNBA Finals with a chance to capture the first championship in franchise history. Reese has been at the center of their journey, providing the toughness and leadership that have helped Atlanta survive the pressure of this series.
Her Game 6 performance showed exactly why she’s so valuable. Reese finished with 15 points, 14 rebounds and six assists, while setting the WNBA Finals record for rebounds in a single series with 78.
Even when her shot isn’t falling, she finds ways to impact winning basketball. Her ability to control the boards and create opportunities for teammates makes her an important part of Atlanta’s championship formula.
Reese also knows what it takes to win on the biggest stage. She helped LSU capture the 2023 NCAA championship, and now she has the opportunity to add a professional title to her résumé.
