After struggling in last week’s loss to New England, Pittsburgh bounced back with a strong offensive performance and a defense that came through when the game was on the line. The victory moves the Steelers to 2-1 on the season, while Cincinnati falls to 2-1.
Rodgers Leads the Offense
Aaron Rodgers helped Pittsburgh get off to a fast start, connecting with Roman Wilson for a 38-yard touchdown on the opening drive. Rodgers later found Ben Skowronek for a 23-yard score, giving the Steelers a 14-7 lead in the first quarter.
Rodgers finished with 292 passing yards and three touchdowns, providing the kind of production Pittsburgh needed after its offensive struggles a week ago.
Jaylen Warren was also a major factor, recording 127 rushing yards and adding 49 receiving yards. His ability to make plays on the ground and through the air helped keep the Steelers moving throughout the afternoon.

Cincinnati answered Pittsburgh’s early touchdowns with a strong performance from Joe Burrow and his receiving corps.

Cincinnati still had a chance to respond, but the Steelers’ defense had the final say. Derrick Harmon sacked Burrow and forced a fumble, which Sebastian Joseph-Day recovered with just 44 seconds remaining.
