ESPN has a new face on SportsCenter.
And let’s just say the network made a pretty damn good addition.
Madelyn Burke joined ESPN earlier this year after nearly a decade covering the New York Giants, and she’s quickly becoming one of the network’s most recognizable new personalities.
Burke isn’t exactly new to the business, either.
She’s worked for CBS Sports HQ, Sports Illustrated, Bleacher Report, FOX Sports and the Giants, covering everything from the NFL and college football to the NBA. She even started her career with ESPN as a production assistant before eventually returning as a SportsCenter anchor.
So yes, she’s talented.
But we’re also allowed to acknowledge the obvious:
Madelyn Burke is gorgeous.
And when you’re sitting behind the SportsCenter desk looking like that while talking sports for a living, people are going to notice.
Burke has already shown she belongs on ESPN’s biggest studio show. Now she’s got the kind of national platform that can turn a familiar regional face into a household name.
ESPN may have hired her for her broadcasting ability.
But don’t be surprised if plenty of viewers suddenly start remembering what time SportsCenter comes on.
Welcome to the big leagues, Madelyn.
