If Georgia can keep its offensive line healthy in 2026, there is a legitimate argument that the Bulldogs could have the best unit in the entire country.
The projected starting five heading into the second week of fall camp features Earnest Greene III at left tackle, Dontrell Glover at left guard, Drew Bobo at center, freshman Zykie Helton at right guard and Juan Gaston at right tackle. Georgia returns plenty of experience while also adding some serious young talent to the lineup.
It starts with Greene and Bobo.
Greene returns for another season and moves back to his natural left tackle position, giving Gunner Stockton an experienced blindside protector. Bobo is the anchor in the middle and earned first-team All-SEC recognition last season. Those two veterans give Georgia a foundation most teams would love to have.
Then there’s the massive Juan Gaston, who has a chance to become one of the SEC’s breakout offensive linemen. At around 6-foot-7 and 350-plus pounds, Gaston brings ridiculous size and power to the right side.
Dontrell Glover gives Georgia another returning starter at guard, while Zykie Helton has quickly emerged as one of the most exciting young linemen on the roster. Helton’s breakout spring helped put him in position to potentially start immediately as a true freshman.
And the depth behind the starters makes this group even scarier. Georgia has players like Daniel Calhoun, Cortez Smith, Michael Uini, Jahzare Jackson and highly rated freshman Ekene Ogboko available behind the projected starting five. Ogboko was Georgia’s highest-rated offensive line signee in the 2026 class.
The biggest question is simply health.
Greene has dealt with injuries during his career, and keeping this starting five together will be crucial. But if Georgia can avoid significant injuries up front, there aren’t many offensive lines in America with a better combination of experience, size, depth and pure talent.
That’s especially important with Nate Frazier and Chauncey Bowens forming one of the country’s best running back duos and Stockton entering Year Two as the starter.
Georgia has the backs.
Georgia has an experienced quarterback.
And the Dawgs might have the offensive line capable of making everything work.
If this group stays healthy, Georgia’s offensive line shouldn’t just be one of the best in the SEC — it could be the best in college football.
