The matchups for the 2025 SEC/ACC Basketball challenge have been announced. Here are all the matchups as well as picks to win each game. Duke's young talent and home court advantage prove to be the deciding factor as the Blue Devils win at home. The Longhorns pick up the win at home, but nothing is certain until the season tips off. Bruce Pearl led Auburn to the Final Four, and he's matched up against new Wolfpack head coach Will Wade, the former LSU coach who led McNeese State to unprecedented heights. As it's on The Plains and the Wolfpack rister will still be a work in progress early in the season, Auburn should win. Alabama should be favored over the Tigers and should win at home. While Arkansas got hot late in the year, Louisville was a team no one wanted to play last season. The Cardinals go into Arkansas and pick up the upset for the ACC. After a promising non-conference season, Oklahoma fell on its face in SEC play. Wake Forest again fell short in its quest to make the NCAA Tournament. This is likely Steve Forbes' last chance to guide the Demon Deacons to the Big Dance. The Deacs win. Vandy is again revamping its roster--can it recapture the magic again? SMU gets the win. LSU has yet to take the next step under coach Matt McMahon, and Boston College resided in the basement of the ACC last season. This is the hardest game to pick, but the Eagles pick up the win at Cherry Hill. Houston defeated Tennessee 69-50. The battle for the Orange takes place in Syracuse, as the Big Orange travel to Syracuse to take on the Orangemen. This game won't be close, as the Vols win on the road. Missouri went from last to near the top of the SEC with a completely rebuilt roster. Mizzou wins on the road.
