The Falcons’ defense may have just suffered its worst possible setback. Reports indicate promising edge rusher Jalon Walker is feared to have torn his ACL, an injury that would sideline him for the entire 2026 season if confirmed.
Walker was expected to take a major leap in Year 2 after an impressive rookie campaign and was set to play a huge role in Atlanta’s revamped pass rush. Losing a young, explosive playmaker like Walker would be a massive blow to a defense with high expectations and could significantly impact the Falcons’ ability to consistently pressure opposing quarterbacks throughout the season.
