NFL Expert Grades the Green Bay Packers 2026 Draft Class

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers took a value-driven approach in the 2026 NFL draft, earning an “A-” grade from EasySportz’s in-house NFL analyst in its team-by-team evaluation.

Green Bay, without a first-round pick, opened in the second round by selecting cornerback Brandon Cisse, followed by defensive lineman Chris McClellan in the third and edge rusher Dani Dennis-Sutton in the fourth.

The Packers continued by adding offensive lineman Jager Burton in the fifth round, then addressed the secondary and special teams with cornerback Domani Jackson and kicker Trey Smack in the sixth.

EasySportz’s analyst praised the class for maximizing value and addressing key defensive needs, highlighting Cisse and Dennis-Sutton as potential early contributors. The report also noted strong athletic upside across the class, particularly along the defensive front.

National evaluations were largely positive, with many outlets grading the Packers’ class in the A to B+ range despite the absence of a first-round pick.

Overall, Green Bay’s draft was viewed as an efficient, need-based class with high upside, reflected in the analyst’s A- grade.
