Paige Spiranac knows how to get golf fans to stop scrolling.
She did it again this weekend.
Spiranac was part of the Grass League’s Summer Grind, working on the broadcast while also sharing photos from the event with her massive social media audience. The event ran Sept. 4-6 and aired on Golf Channel.
And, predictably, the internet had thoughts.
Spiranac has built an enormous following by combining golf, entertainment and social media in a way few people in the sport have managed to replicate. She has also moved further into the business side of golf, making her role with Grass League much more than simply showing up for a few photos.
Still, nobody is going to complain when she posts another round of golf pictures.
Her latest Grass League appearance once again proved why Spiranac remains one of the most recognizable personalities in golf.
The actual tournament had plenty of talented players.
Some fans were clearly more interested in the person on the microphone.
That is just the Paige Spiranac effect.
