MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Niece Motorsports is giving short-track standout Connor Hall a shot in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this spring at Rockingham Speedway.
Hall will drive the team’s No. 4 Chevrolet in the Truck Series race at Rockingham in April, marking his first NASCAR national series start since 2024.
The Virginia native has built his reputation as one of the toughest competitors in short-track racing, starring in the CARS Tour. Hall finished second in the Late Model Stock championship standings in both 2024 and 2025, consistently battling for wins and establishing himself as one of the discipline’s top drivers.
Veteran NASCAR reporter Bob Pockrass confirmed the move on X, noting that Hall will pilot the No. 4 truck for Niece at Rockingham as the team continues to rotate drivers in the entry.
For many in the grassroots racing world, the opportunity feels well deserved. Hall is widely regarded as a “real racer” — a Saturday-night short-track ace who has earned his shot through years of success in Late Model competition.
Now, he’ll bring that hard-nosed short-track pedigree to one of NASCAR’s most anticipated returns when the Truck Series heads back to Rockingham.
