The NHL is bringing outdoor hockey to the heart of Texas.

The Vegas Golden Knights will face the Dallas Stars in the 2027 NHL Stadium Series on February 20, 2027. The game will be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys.

This matchup marks a major moment for hockey in the southern United States. AT&T Stadium will be transformed into an outdoor rink, with tens of thousands of fans expected to attend. The game is part of the Navy Federal Credit Union–sponsored Stadium Series, which features regular-season NHL games played in large, nontraditional venues.

For the Stars, it’s a chance to host a marquee event in their home state. For the Golden Knights, it’s another high-profile appearance on a national stage.

Additional details, including ticket sales and broadcast information, are expected to be announced closer to the 2026–27 NHL season.
