MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Toni Breidinger’s NASCAR Truck Series journey takes a new, scaled-back turn in 2026.
Breidinger will run an eight-race schedule with Rackley WAR, shifting from TRICON Garage’s Toyota pipeline to Chevrolet, a move confirmed this week. The change means that as of Jan. 21, 2026, NASCAR’s three national series will not feature a full-time female driver, even as Breidinger remains active on a part-time basis in the Craftsman Truck Series.
The 26-year-old brings experience, visibility and sponsorship value to Rackley WAR, but the results column still tells a stubborn story. Breidinger logged two top-20 finishes in 2023, none in 2024, and two more in 2025, according to season stats. She has yet to record a top 10, top five, podium finish or win at the national-series level, with an average finish of 18.7 in 2023, 27.0 in 2024 and 25.4 in 2025.
That reality frames 2026 as a pivotal season. Breidinger’s marketability and return on investment have kept her opportunities alive in a fiercely competitive garage, but NASCAR remains a results-driven business. Eight races may not sound like many, yet they offer a clear audition — fewer starts, brighter spotlight, higher expectations.
The manufacturer switch adds another layer of intrigue, as Breidinger adapts to new equipment, personnel and expectations at Rackley WAR. If the performance needle finally moves, the door to expanded opportunities stays open. If not, the clock — already ticking — grows louder.
