Joey Logano is back in Victory Lane.

After enduring a 45-race winless streak, the three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion returned to the top on Sunday night at North Wilkesboro Speedway, putting together one of the most dominant performances of his career.

Logano led 323 of the race’s laps, the most he has ever led in a single NASCAR Cup Series race across 636 career starts. It marked his first NASCAR Cup Series victory of the 2026 season and his first win since May 4, 2025, when he captured the Würth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Denny Hamlin finished second after spending much of the night trying to keep pace with the No. 22, while Chase Briscoe finished third. Ty Gibbs brought home a fourth-place finish, giving Joe Gibbs Racing three cars inside the top four, while Shane van Gisbergen rounded out the top five.

The victory gives Logano a major boost as the playoff picture continues to take shape. He has now put himself above the cut line for The Chase and bumped Erik Jones below the cut line after Logano was 20th in the standings a couple weeks ago.
