Sunday night’s Cowboys-Giants game is already getting personal.
Giants cornerback Greg Newsome II recently claimed New York has the “best cornerback room in the league,” saying he likes their chances against Dallas stars CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.
Pickens heard about it.
And he doesn’t exactly agree.
“That’s definitely how he should feel,” Pickens said, before adding that Dallas sees it as “a completely different story.”
There’s history here, too.
Pickens and Newsome famously got into it during a Steelers-Browns game in 2024, wrestling with each other during a Hail Mary and continuing the altercation afterward.
Now they’re meeting again on Sunday Night Football.
And with Pickens and Lamb both believing they’re the best receiving duo in football, Newsome’s secondary is going to get an immediate opportunity to back up all that confidence.
This matchup just got a lot more interesting.
