KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The ARCA Menards Series will get extra track time before going racing this weekend at Kansas Speedway.

Series officials scheduled a Friday test session to open the day, giving teams a valuable opportunity to dial in setups before traditional practice and qualifying later in the afternoon. The added track time could prove critical at the 1.5-mile oval, where handling and tire management often dictate race pace.

Teams will shift quickly from testing to qualifying trim as they prepare for Saturday’s race, compressing preparation into a busy two-day window.

For smaller teams and younger drivers, the test offers a rare chance to gather data and build confidence before the green flag drops.

By Saturday, the focus turns to execution.
