On Monday, live from Pittsburgh Steelers training camp on The Pat McAfee Show, he once again proved that if he has something on his mind, he’s going to say it—whether people like it or not. Along with criticizing ESPN and other media topics, Rodgers unloaded on Dr. Anthony Fauci, referencing Fauci’s recent Senate testimony and arguing he had been vindicated after years of criticism over his own COVID-era stance.
If nothing else, Rodgers certainly knows how to win the internet for an afternoon.
Back in 2021, Rodgers became one of the most polarizing athletes in America. His vaccination status dominated headlines for weeks. Every sports debate show had an opinion. Every social media platform became a battlefield.
You couldn’t escape it.
Four years later, Rodgers clearly hasn’t forgotten any of it.
Watching him on McAfee’s show felt a little like watching someone finally cash in years’ worth of receipts. Whether you agree with him or not, it was obvious he had been waiting a long time to air his grievances.
