Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider has accomplished something no one else in NFL history has ever done.
He is the first GM to win multiple Super Bowls with the same organization while doing it under completely different circumstances each time. Each championship run came with a new head coach and an entirely different roster, with no players carrying over from the previous Super Bowl team.
That is what makes this achievement so rare.
Most teams that reach the top rely heavily on continuity. The same quarterback, the same leaders, and often the same coaching staff form the backbone of repeat success. When that core breaks apart, franchises usually struggle to get back. Schneider managed to rebuild from the ground up and still reach the league’s highest point again.
