At some point, we have to stop calling Angel Reese a “future star.”

She is already a star.

Reese has taken her game to another level with the Atlanta Dream, averaging 16.1 points, 12.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game this season.

And somehow, she still feels like one of the most underrated players in the WNBA.

The rebounding has always been ridiculous. Nobody is surprised when Reese grabs 12 or 13 boards anymore. What stands out now is everything else she is doing.

She is creating more offensively, making plays for teammates and impacting games defensively.

The scary part?

She is still only 24.

Reese has already been named an All-Star multiple times and has established herself as one of the league’s premier rebounders.

Now she is starting to look like something even bigger: the centerpiece of a legitimate Atlanta contender.

The WNBA better enjoy this while it can.

Because Angel Reese is not finished getting better.

And that should terrify the rest of the league.
