Angel Reese is having a ridiculous season.

She’s also still missing the biggest piece of her offensive game.

Reese has destroyed the glass in Atlanta, setting WNBA records for single-game rebounds, single-season rebounds and double-doubles. She’s become one of the league’s most dominant rebounders almost by default.

But the jumper still isn’t there.

Reese is shooting just 18% from 3-point range this season, according to Basketball Reference.

That matters.

The rest of her game has developed. She’s become a more reliable free-throw shooter, she’s passing better and she’s still an elite defender and rebounder.

But defenses can still live with her outside the paint.

That’s the next level.

Because if Reese develops a legitimate perimeter shot, the conversation changes completely.

She goes from being an elite interior player to someone defenses genuinely can’t scheme against.

So yes, celebrate the records.

Celebrate the rebounds.

Celebrate the ridiculous double-double numbers.

But Angel Reese still has one glaring weakness.

And fixing it could make her absolutely terrifying.
