The Jacksonville Jaguars aren’t getting nearly enough attention heading into the 2026 season. While teams like the Eagles, Lions and Bengals dominate the headlines, Jacksonville has quietly assembled one of the deepest and most complete offenses in the NFL.
Everything starts with Trevor Lawrence, who enters the season with arguably the best supporting cast of his career. Brian Thomas Jr. is looking to bounce back after a disappointing second season, but there’s no questioning his talent or big-play ability. He still possesses the size, speed and athleticism to become one of the NFL’s most dangerous receivers if he returns to form. Veteran Jakobi Meyers brings consistency and professionalism to the room, while Parker Washington may be the most underrated weapon on the roster after emerging as a legitimate playmaker who can stretch the field, create yards after the catch and make tough catches in traffic. Travis Hunter is expected to spend most of his snaps at cornerback, but his ability as a receiver gives the Jaguars another explosive chess piece that Liam Coen can deploy in key offensive situations. Add in Brenton Strange, one of the league’s most underrated tight ends, and Jacksonville has one of the NFL’s deepest collections of pass catchers.
The running back room is just as impressive. Bhayshul Tuten enters his second NFL season looking ready to take another step after flashing elite burst and home-run ability as a rookie. Chris Rodriguez Jr. gives the offense a physical downhill runner capable of wearing defenses down, while LeQuint Allen adds versatility as both a runner and pass catcher. It’s a balanced backfield with complementary skill sets that gives Jacksonville answers in every situation.
The offensive line deserves far more recognition than it receives. Right tackle Anton Harrison has quietly developed into one of the AFC’s better young offensive tackles and has even been working at left tackle during training camp while projected starter Cole Van Lanen continues recovering from a knee injury on the PUP list. Harrison’s versatility gives Jacksonville valuable flexibility up front, while Van Lanen’s eventual return should further strengthen the unit. Inside, Ezra Cleveland, Robert Hainsey and Patrick Mekari provide experience, toughness and versatility, creating a cohesive group with quality depth. It may not be the flashiest offensive line in football, but it has all the ingredients to become one of the league’s most underrated units.
