BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Ravens made one of the biggest moves of the NFL offseason Friday night, agreeing to acquire star pass rusher Maxx Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders in a blockbuster trade for two first-round draft picks, according to multiple reports.
The Ravens will send their 2026 and 2027 first-round selections to the Raiders in exchange for Crosby, a five-time Pro Bowl defensive end who has been one of the league’s most disruptive pass rushers in recent seasons.
The trade cannot become official until the start of the new league year next week, but the agreement is already in place, sources said.
Crosby, 28, immediately fills a major need for Baltimore, which struggled to generate consistent pressure last season. The former fourth-round pick out of Eastern Michigan recorded 73 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks in 2025, earning his fifth consecutive Pro Bowl selection despite dealing with injuries late in the year.
Baltimore rarely parts with high draft capital under general manager Eric DeCosta, making the deal notable for a franchise that typically builds through the draft. However, Crosby’s proven production and relentless motor could instantly elevate a Ravens defense already anchored by stars such as linebacker Roquan Smith and safety Kyle Hamilton.
For the Raiders, the move signals a potential reset after a disappointing season and allows the organization to add significant draft capital over the next two years. Multiple teams had expressed interest in Crosby, but Baltimore’s offer of two first-round picks ultimately sealed the deal.
Crosby is expected to become a centerpiece of the Ravens’ defense as the team looks to return to playoff contention in the AFC.
