Despite four straight losses, Cooper Flagg has been nothing short of sensational over his last four games, proving once again why he’s considered one of the most complete young stars in college basketball.
In those four contests, Flagg has averaged 37.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game, carrying the offensive load while still impacting every area of the floor. His scoring outbursts — including performances of 32, 36, 34, and a career-high 49 points — highlight just how dominant he’s been, even when results haven’t gone his team’s way.
What makes this stretch even more impressive is the efficiency. Flagg has shot over 50% from the field in three of the four games and knocked down big shots from deep when his team needed them most. His 49-point explosion against Charlotte, where he shot nearly 70% from the floor, was a masterclass in shot selection, confidence, and composure.
But Flagg hasn’t just been scoring. He’s also rebounded at a high level, consistently pulling down 8–12 boards, while creating for teammates and defending multiple positions. His three-block, two-steal performance against San Antonio showed that even on tough nights, he remains fully engaged defensively.
While the losses are frustrating, they shouldn’t overshadow what Flagg is doing individually. He’s playing heavy minutes, facing constant defensive attention, and still finding ways to dominate.
Simply put, the wins haven’t followed yet — but Cooper Flagg’s play has been elite. If this level continues, it’s only a matter of time before his performances start translating into victories.
