ROSSBURG, Ohio — Eldora Speedway hosts the $100,000-to-win Jokers Jackpot Thursday, marking the first Kubota High Limit Racing event to air on cable television with a live FS1 broadcast from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET, featuring Kyle Larson and other NASCAR stars.
The 40-lap A-Main, a highlight of the 42nd annual Kings Royal week, showcases sprint car racing’s elite, with streaming available on FloRacing for subscribers seeking live action, replays, and exclusive content. Tickets, starting at $30 for general admission, are available online via Eldora’s digital ticketing system, with pit pass upgrades offered at the track for fans wanting closer access.
The event follows Wednesday’s Double Down Duels, where Aaron Reutzel and Corey Day claimed $12,000 victories in the split-field format. Reutzel outdueled James McFadden in the first 25-lap feature, while Day led every lap in the second, fending off a late charge from Tanner Holmes, who finished third after a disqualification elevated him. Points from the Every Lap Matters system determined Thursday’s lineups, locking the top 12 into the A-Main, including NASCAR star Kyle Larson, High Limit standout Rico Abreu, and rising NASCAR prospect Corey Day. NASCAR Cup Series driver Christopher Bell, competing in the No. 69k sprint car, starts in one of two 10-lap C-Mains, aiming to transfer to the B-Mains and ultimately the main event.
Meanwhile, Ty Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing was expected to compete in this week’s festivities, but pulled out due to scheduling conflicts and weather related concerns.
Gibbs is expected to race High Limit events again in the near future.
The Jokers Jackpot, sanctioned by Kubota High Limit Racing, features a star-studded field of nearly 70 drivers, including former Eldora winners and Kings Royal champions. Larson and Abreu, both locked into the A-Main, start near the front, with Abreu on the pole and Larson alongside. Day, fresh off his first Eldora victory, joins them in the main show, showcasing his rapid rise in sprint car and NASCAR circles. The format includes two C-Mains transferring the top four to two 15-lap B-Mains, which send the top six to the A-Main, ensuring intense competition.
Eldora’s high-banked half-mile clay oval, dubbed the World’s Greatest Dirt Track, hosts four nights of racing this week, culminating in Saturday’s $200,000-to-win Kings Royal. Gates open at noon, with hillside seating available on a first-come basis. Fans can also opt for the Turn 2 Club for a premium experience. The FS1 broadcast and FloRacing stream bring the high-stakes action to a national audience, amplifying sprint car racing’s growing reach. With congested traffic expected, attendees should plan for early arrival and explore parking options outlined on Eldora’s website.
In case you missed it, Josh Berry got revenge on Carson Hocevar for much of the NASCAR Cup Series field on Sunday at Sonoma raceway, whether intentional or not.
