Freddy, the viral German soccer fan who has become one of the breakout stars of the World Cup, somehow keeps leveling up his American adventure.
After winning over social media with his cross-country road trip through the United States, Freddy made another iconic stop this week when he visited NASA’s headquarters in Houston. For a soccer fan already living out a dream vacation, touring one of America’s most famous institutions added another unforgettable chapter to the journey.
As if that wasn’t enough, country music star Ella Langley reportedly invited Freddy to attend her concert in Oklahoma City next week, giving the German traveler yet another uniquely American experience to add to his growing collection.
At this point, Freddy’s trip has become the World Cup side story everyone is following. He’s sampled Buc-ee’s brisket sandwiches and Beaver Nuggets, eaten at Waffle House, wandered through Walmart, explored the Deep South and embraced nearly every piece of Americana he can find.
Now he’s checking out NASA and hanging out at country concerts.
