NBA Christmas Day Schedule Loaded With Star Power

The NBA has officially revealed its Christmas Day schedule, and basketball fans will have five nationally televised games to choose from on December 25. The slate features several of the league’s biggest stars and multiple intriguing matchups that should make for an exciting day of basketball.

The action begins at noon ET when the San Antonio Spurs travel to Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks. The matchup is an early rematch of last season’s NBA Finals, giving fans a chance to see two championship contenders battle on one of the league’s biggest stages.

At 2:30 p.m. ET, the Miami Heat will visit the Boston Celtics. That game features another collection of stars, with Miami’s Newly acquired Giannis Antetokounmpo and Boston’s Jayson Tatum among the players expected to headline the matchup.

The third game of the day could draw plenty of attention as the Philadelphia 76ers visit the Los Angeles Lakers at 5 p.m. ET. The matchup gives LeBron James another Christmas Day appearance while also putting Philadelphia’s star studded roster in the spotlight.

At 8 p.m. ET, the Oklahoma City Thunder will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. Oklahoma City enters the season as one of the NBA’s premier young teams, while Minnesota will look to make its mark in a Western Conference showdown.

The Christmas schedule concludes at 10:30 p.m. ET with the Denver Nuggets visiting the Golden State Warriors. The matchup features Nikola Jokic against Stephen Curry, giving fans a marquee matchup to close out the holiday.
