Corey Heim to the Cup Series? What We’re Hearing

Corey Heim appears poised to make the jump to full-time NASCAR Cup Series competition next season.

Sources indicate Heim is expected to land a full-time ride with 23XI Racing in 2027, taking over the No. 35 car currently driven by Riley Herbst. Heim has long been viewed as one of Toyota’s top developmental prospects and continues to impress across the Truck Series and limited Cup opportunities.

The move would mark a major shakeup for 23XI Racing as the organization continues building for the future around young talent. Heim’s consistency, racecraft and ability to contend for wins have made him one of the hottest names in the garage.

Meanwhile, Herbst is expected to remain in the Cup Series picture. Industry chatter points toward Legacy Motor Club as a possible landing spot should the 23XI move become official.

Nothing has been formally announced, but momentum around Heim’s promotion continues to grow as silly season begins heating up.
