NFL Draft Expert Grades New Orleans Saints 2026 Draft Class

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Saints turned in a steady, well-rounded performance in the 2026 NFL draft, earning a “B” grade from EasySportz’s in-house NFL analyst in its team-by-team evaluation.

New Orleans opened by selecting wide receiver Jordyn Tyson in the first round, pairing him with quarterback Tyler Shough as part of the team’s continued offensive build. The Saints followed with defensive lineman Christen Miller in the second and tight end Oscar Delp in the third, addressing both sides of the ball early.

The Saints added offensive lineman Jeremiah Wright and defensive back Bryce Lane in the fourth round, then selected Lorenzo Styles Jr. in the fifth, Barion Brown in the sixth and T.J. Hall in the seventh to round out the class.

EasySportz’s analyst noted the class was largely strong and balanced but questioned the value of the Tyson selection relative to other options on the board. The report described Tyson as a solid receiver who should contribute alongside Shough, though it suggested New Orleans could have maximized value elsewhere in the first round.

National evaluations reflected a similar outlook, with analysts praising the Saints’ depth and positional balance while viewing the first-round decision as a slight reach.

Overall, the Saints’ draft was seen as a solid, productive class with one notable question mark — reflected in the analyst’s B grade.
