Tiger Woods loved what he saw from Team USA.
The United States entered Sunday at the Presidents Cup trailing the International Team 10.5-7.5, needing a massive comeback at Medinah. Somehow, they pulled it off.
Team USA dominated singles 9.5-2.5, storming back to win the Presidents Cup 17-13. It marked the Americans’ 11th consecutive victory in the event.
Woods quickly reacted afterward, calling it an incredible comeback and congratulating the entire American team. The 15-time major champion knows something about Presidents Cup pressure himself, having represented the U.S. nine times and serving as playing captain in 2019.
This one was special. Team USA looked like it was in serious trouble entering Sunday before completely flipping the competition.
Tiger said it best: what a comeback.
