Amanda Anisimova is an American professional tennis player, born on August 31, 2001. She achieved a career-high singles WTA ranking of world No. 12 on June 30, 2025. Anisimova has won three WTA Tour titles, including one WTA 1000 event, the 2025 Qatar Ladies Open.
As a junior, she was ranked as high as No. 2 in the world and won the 2017 US Open girls’ singles title. She made a significant breakthrough at the 2019 French Open, reaching the semifinals and becoming the youngest semifinalist at the tournament in over a decade.
Anisimova has been open about her mental health, taking a break from tennis in May 2023 due to burnout, and using art as a positive outlet. She returned to the tour in January 2024.
