Tom Kim Wins Genesis Scottish Open for Fourth PGA Tour Victory
Tom Kim captured the biggest victory of his PGA Tour career Sunday, winning the Genesis Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland.
With weather delays forcing part of the field to complete the third round Sunday morning, players faced a busy final day before Kim emerged atop the leaderboard.
The 24-year-old fired a bogey-free, 6-under 64 in the final round to finish at 17-under for the tournament, securing his fourth PGA Tour victory. Kim made just one bogey over the weekend as he continued his return to top form.
After finishing 108th in the FedEx Cup standings last season, Kim has enjoyed a strong resurgence in 2026 and now sits 32nd in the standings heading into next week’s final major championship.
Min Woo Lee finished alone in second place at 15-under. Keita Nakajima, Johnny Keefer, Matt Fitzpatrick and Robert MacIntyre tied for third at 13-under.
Open Championship Qualifiers
Three spots in next week’s Open Championship were available to the highest finishers not already exempt into the field.
Johnny Keefer, Michael Thorbjornsen and Victor Perez secured those final qualifying spots. The Open Championship will mark the first career appearance for both Keefer and Thorbjornsen.
One final place in the field remains available and will be decided Monday through a last-chance qualifying event at Royal Birkdale, the site of next week’s Open Championship. The 18-hole qualifier features 12 players, including Aldrich Potgieter, Matti Schmid and Wesley Bryan, all competing for the tournament’s final berth.
