Predicting the 2026 World Cup Quarterfinals

The 2026 FIFA World Cup quarterfinals would be loaded with heavyweight nations, Ballon d’Or contenders, and matches that could easily pass for a World Cup final.

After an incredible Round of 16, only eight teams remain. France, the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Brazil, England, Portugal, and Argentina all arrive with legitimate championship aspirations. But by the end of the quarterfinals, only four nations will still be dreaming of lifting the trophy in New York/New Jersey.
