ALTAMAHAW, N.C. — Kaden Honeycutt completed a remarkable weekend by sweeping both zMAX CARS Tour races Saturday night at Ace Speedway after already capturing his first career Truck Series victory the night before at Watkins Glen International.
On Friday, Honeycutt broke through for his first Truck Series win by holding off road course standouts Shane van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch in a hard-fought finish at Watkins Glen.
Less than 24 hours later, Honeycutt returned to North Carolina and continued his momentum in Late Model competition.
In the Pro Late Model race, Honeycutt faced heavy pressure throughout the event from drivers including Keelan Harvick and Jake Johnson. Despite multiple challenges for the lead, Honeycutt was able to maintain control late in the race and secure the victory.
The night only got better from there.
Starting second in the Late Model Stock Car feature, Honeycutt spent much of the race battling London McKenzie for the top spot. With 74 laps remaining, Honeycutt finally completed the pass for the lead and pulled away from the field.
From that point forward, he never looked back.
By the end of the night, Honeycutt had completed a rare weekend sweep — winning in the Truck Series on Friday before capturing both CARS Tour races on Saturday.
The triple-win weekend further adds to what has already been a breakout season for Honeycutt and continues to build momentum for one of the rising stars in stock car racing.
