Savannah Bananas Set for Historic Two-Night Showcase at Yankee Stadium

BRONX, N.Y. — The Savannah Bananas are bringing their high-energy brand of “Banana Ball” to one of baseball’s most iconic venues, as they are scheduled to play at Yankee Stadium on April 25 and April 26.

The exhibition series, part of Bananas’ expansive 2026 national tour, will feature matchups against their in-house rival, the Party Animals. The games are slated for Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, with first pitch expected around 7 p.m. on April 25 and 3 p.m. on April 26.

The two-game set marks another major milestone for the Bananas, who have rapidly grown from a summer collegiate team into a nationwide entertainment phenomenon. Known for their fast-paced rules, choreographed dances, and fan interaction, the team has transformed traditional baseball into a theatrical experience that appeals to a broad audience.

Yankee Stadium, home of the New York Yankees, is one of 14 Major League ballparks included on the Bananas’ 2026 tour, which spans dozens of cities across the United States. The Bronx stop is expected to draw significant attention, continuing a trend of sellout crowds at major venues nationwide.

Tickets for both games have been in high demand, with availability limited and many seats distributed through the team’s lottery system or premium ticket offerings.

The April series will showcase the Bananas’ signature style — a two-hour time limit, unique rules such as no walks or bunts, and a heavy emphasis on entertainment — all set against the backdrop of one of baseball’s most historic stadiums.

For fans in New York and beyond, the event offers a rare opportunity to see the Bananas’ unconventional approach to the sport on one of its biggest stages.
