Rory McIlroy Awaits Champions Dinner at The Masters

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Rory McIlroy will trade scorecards for a menu Tuesday night at Augusta National Golf Club, hosting the annual Champions Dinner ahead of The Masters.

McIlroy earned the honor after winning last year’s Masters to complete the career Grand Slam, and his menu reflects a mix of personal taste, Northern Irish roots and a touch of Augusta flair.

McIlroy’s Champions Dinner menu

  • Appetizers:
    • Peach and ricotta flatbread
    • Rock shrimp tempura
    • Bacon-wrapped dates with goat cheese and almonds
    • Grilled elk sliders with caramelized onion jam
  • First course:
    • Yellowfin tuna carpaccio
  • Main course (choice):
    • Wagyu filet mignon
    • Seared salmon
    • Served with Irish champ potatoes, sautéed Brussels sprouts, glazed carrots and onion rings
  • Dessert:
    • Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream

The menu balances comfort and high-end flavor — equal parts Augusta elegance and McIlroy personality.

Rolling into Augusta

McIlroy arrived in Augusta earlier this week with a different kind of swagger — not the anxious energy of someone chasing history, but the calm of someone who already grabbed it.

Green jacket secured. Career Grand Slam complete. Dinner menu locked in.

He’s been spotted bouncing between the range, the clubhouse and quiet corners of the property, soaking in the buildup to a night that’s less about golf and more about legacy.

You can almost picture it:

  • A casual stroll past Magnolia Lane
  • A quick glance at the Champions Locker Room
  • Maybe a mental run-through of who’s ordering the elk sliders
