DARF FEST 2026: A Motorsports Weekend So Big, It’ll Make Your Sweet Tea Spill

HICKORY, NC — Buckle up, y’all, because this weekend is basically a motorsports hoedown the likes of which the world ain’t never seen. It’s almost 4 am, as I write this column after watching Outlaws, High Limit and F1 qualifying tonight.

If you love wheel, speed, dirt, asphalt, air, or anything that goes vroom, grab your cooler, slap on some sunscreen, and maybe loosen your belt a notch—because EasySportz is covering it all, and it’s gonna be a DARF Festival.

Today is not just any Saturday. Oh no, it’s a DARFIN’ day.

Saturday kicks off with NASCAR Cup qualifying and INDYCAR qualifying. That’s right: two of America’s finest high-horsepower shindigs happening within a few hours of each other. Meanwhile, the INDY NXT fellas are tearing up Barber Motorsports Park, trying to show the old folks how it’s done in Alabama.

Then, the O’Reilly Series rolls into Martinsville, and things start getting messy in all the best ways. But don’t blink, because this is Super Wheel Time, the moment where the real DARFs strut their stuff. The Flo Racing app will probably crash harder than your uncle’s old pickup after a mud pit, because simultaneously we’ve got:

  • NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour at Martinsville
  • ARCA East Cook Out 200 at Hickory
  • Cars Tour LMSC at Wake County

All within two hours of each other, all at the same time. If that don’t get your southern heart thumping, nothing will.

Meanwhile out in Kansas, the dirt gets serious: High Limit Racing and World of Outlaws Sprint Cars are both ripping laps—High Limit on Flo, Outlaws on DirtVision—because why settle for one dust storm when you can have two? And if motorcycles make your boots shake, the boys and girls at COTA have you covered all weekend long.

Still need more wheel? The World of Outlaws late model series visits Senoia Raceway in Georgia, where Bubba Pollard spread his wings in the racing world.

For y’all who like international spice with your southern biscuits, F1 at Suzuka drops Sunday morning at 1 a.m. Eastern. That’s right—grab your coffee, or maybe your bourbon if you’re feeling daring, and watch Kimi Antonelli, George Russell, Max Verstappen’s usual chaos, and the whole European circus show what speed really looks like.

And then, Sunday afternoon? Oh boy. Sunday wraps up the weekend with another INDY NXT race, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, motorcycles at COTA, and NASCAR Cup at Martinsville. That’s four series running at the same time in four different directions. If your brain doesn’t melt just picturing it, bless your heart—you’re made for this wheel life.

This weekend has:

  • DARFIN’ in the Carolinas
  • Pasty DARF activities at the dirt in Kansas with the midwestern crowd
  • Europeans watching motorcycles and F1 like hawks
  • American open-wheel fans smiling wide with Indy at Barber

For EasySportz, it’s basically Christmas come early. We love our fans, we love wheel, and we ain’t afraid to brag—we’ll be covering all of it, from the mud to the asphalt to the asphalt-coated mud to the international wheel chaos.

So grab your sweet tea, your sunscreen, and maybe a helmet, y’all. Our first DARF FEST 2026 is well underway, and it ain’t slowing down.
