Welcome to March Madness Automatic Qualifier Watch!
Conference tournaments are underway, and we will track all the projected one-bid conferences as they crown their conference tournament champion and automatic qualifier into the Big Dance. One-bid conferences mean that those teams MUST win their conference tournament to go Dancing, or else. Saturday brings us our first AQ berth, with the Ohio Valley crowning their champion. Overall, there are 27 games today involving one bid conference tournaments.
Power 5 conferences and conferences who are projected to get teams in the tournament regardless, like the WCC and the MAC, home of 31-0 Miami Ohio, can be found at our Bid Stealer Watch. The American and Missouri Valley, usually with multiple teams in at-large contention or around the bubble, do not project to receive any at-large bids this season, so you can find them here.
