Florida Humiliates Arkansas in SEC Title-Clinching Beatdown at Home

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — No. 7 Florida didn’t just beat No. 20 Arkansas on Saturday night.

They embarrassed them.

In front of a roaring home crowd, the Gators delivered a ruthless 111–77 destruction of the Razorbacks, clinching at least a share of the SEC regular-season title and sending a terrifying message to the rest of the country in the process.

From the opening minutes, it was clear Arkansas was in trouble. Florida shot a blistering 57% from the field, dominated the glass, and overwhelmed the Razorbacks with wave after wave of scoring. By halftime, the Gators had already built a comfortable lead. By the second half, it had turned into a full-scale demolition.

Florida led for 87% of the game and built a staggering 37-point advantage, exposing Arkansas on both ends of the floor.

Thomas Haugh Leads Offensive Explosion

Florida’s offense was unstoppable, and Thomas Haugh led the charge.

Haugh scored 22 points on efficient shooting and knocked down key shots that crushed any hope of an Arkansas comeback. He was one of five Florida starters to score in double figures — a reflection of just how dominant and balanced the Gators were offensively.

Alex Condon added 17 points, while Boogie Fland contributed 14. Xavian Lee controlled the game with 13 points and seven assists, orchestrating Florida’s offense with ease.

Florida’s depth made things even worse for Arkansas.

Urban Klavzar scored 14 off the bench, and Isaiah Brown chipped in 11 more, as Florida’s second unit extended the lead rather than protecting it.

By the end of the night, Florida had 111 points on 39 made field goals — one of its most explosive performances of the entire season.

Absolute Domination on the Glass

Florida’s dominance wasn’t limited to scoring.

The Gators crushed Arkansas on the boards, outrebounding the Razorbacks 51–31. Reuben Chinyelu led the interior effort with 16 rebounds, controlling the paint and eliminating second-chance opportunities for Arkansas.

Florida turned those rebounds into transition offense, repeatedly pushing the pace and catching Arkansas’s defense off guard.

Arkansas simply couldn’t keep up.

Razorbacks Have No Answers

Despite entering as a Top-20 team, Arkansas looked completely overmatched.

Billy Richmond III led the Razorbacks with 22 points, and Darius Acuff Jr. added 17, but the team struggled overall. Arkansas shot just 40% from the field and committed costly defensive breakdowns throughout the game.

Even worse, Arkansas had no way to slow Florida’s offense.

Every defensive adjustment failed.

Every run was answered.

Every hope of a comeback disappeared quickly.

SEC Title Statement

With the win, Florida clinched at least a share of the SEC regular-season championship and firmly established itself as one of the most dangerous teams in college basketball.

This wasn’t just a win over a ranked opponent.

It was a warning.

Florida showed elite offense, dominant rebounding, and depth capable of overwhelming top competition.

If the Gators play like this in March, they won’t just compete for a championship.

They’ll be favorites.

On Saturday night, Florida didn’t just beat Arkansas.

They made sure everyone was watching.
