2025 SPEEDWEEKS WINNERS (THE YEAR THAT WAS)

Fresh From Florida 250 (Trucks)Corey Heim drove to victory (after the on-track winner Parker Kligerman was disqualified in post-race inspection).
ARCA at DaytonaBrenden “Butterbean” Queen held off a wild field in the ARCA season opener.
United Rentals 300 (O’Reilly)Jesse Love dominated and held off chaos in overtime.
Daytona 500 (Cup)William Byron took the checkered flag in a rainy, attrition-filled contest.

These results are the benchmark — and the trophies the 2026 contenders want to topple.

MORE THAN JUST THE BIG TRACK

While Daytona International Speedway is the mothership for NASCAR Speedweeks, central Florida’s short-track and dirt-racing culture hums all week long:

World Series of Asphalt at New Smyrna Speedway — nightly asphalt action on the half-mile with late models, Super Stocks and legendary short-track drivers mixing it up every night (streamed on FloRacing).
Volusia County Dirt Tracks — For fans of four-corners sideways and mud-splattering antics, nearby Volusia Speedway’s dirt programs supplement your Speedweeks tourism with sprint cars, modifieds and old-school thrills. (Check local track listings; these are grassroots events not broadcast on national TV. FloRacing and DirtVISION should have it.)

And for history hounds — you can walk the old Daytona Beach road course (the shoreline-to-pits route where legends once ripped tin and throttle) a short drive from the Speedway. It’s free, it’s iconic, and it’s the best place to tell someone you literally walked where Daytona legends raced.
