- Wisconsin The Badgers suffered a significant defeat at Alabama. The loss shows a clear gap between them and the nation’s elite.
- Michigan State Michigan State had a closer win than most thought, beating Youngstown State 41-24.
- Rutgers The Scarlet Knights had a resounding win, scoring 60 points against Norfolk State and showcasing a strong running game.
