Longshot Pick: Justin Bonsignore
Justin Bonsignore (+6000) is a compelling longshot, driving the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Supra. Despite not having much experience on big tracks, Bonsignore is a modified racing legend at tracks like New Hampshire Motor Speedway. With Pocono’s crafty style and need for a fast car, I could see a surprise run out of Justin.
I do not expect Bonsignore to win this race, but with a couple cautions and some chaos, who knows. In Elton Sawyer’s crazy world of stock car racing, anything can happen on any given week. We may have 4 overtimes or we could have a 60 lap green flag run to the finish with a DQ for 2nd or 3rd place.
I like taking a Joe Gibbs Racing car at +6000, especially given the fact Pocono drives like a giant New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Bonsignore has shown he can wheel it in a stock car before, the results just don’t show it on paper yet, due to chaos.
