The Truck Series opens the NASCAR weekend with an 80-lap, 200-mile race on the 2.5-mile Pocono tri-oval. Practice starts at 12:35 p.m., followed by qualifying at 1:40 p.m. Cam Waters returns with ThorSport, and Carson Hocevar races the No. 7 truck. The “Tricky Triangle” promises intense competition.
World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series: Huset’s High Bank Nationals

The World of Outlaws Sprint Cars race a 40-lap, roughly 15-mile preliminary feature on the 0.375-mile Huset’s Speedway dirt oval. David Gravel, with three prior wins at the track, is a favorite for the $20,000 prize, setting the stage for Saturday’s $250,000-to-win finale. Hot laps start at 7 p.m. CT.
