For decades, several exceptional players worldwide have tested their human abilities, taking their teams to victory with 100 or more points in a single game. Here are 15 basketball players who have broken this record at least once.

Wilt Chamberlain

Although several players worldwide have broken this record, Wilt Chamberlain remains the only NBA player to score 100 points in a game. Chamberlain’s performance against the Knicks on March 2, 1962, secured a 169-147 victory for the Philadelphia Warriors in Pennsylvania. He went on to win two NBA championships and four MVP awards.

Anat Draigor

Anat Draigor holds the Guinness record for most basketball points by a female player and is the oldest player ever to reach 100 points. At 46, when most players retire, the Israeli player scored a winning 136 points for her team in 2006. After retiring, Draigor coached female basketball, passing her skills to the next generation.

Jack Taylor

In 2012, Jack Taylor of Grinnell College broke Bevo’s 59-year-old record for most points scored in a college basketball game. Taylor’s astonishing 138-point performance earned praise from NBA stars LeBron James and Kobe Bryant, who congratulated him on Twitter. A year later, Taylor re-recorded 100-plus points, scoring 109 in a victory over Crossroads College.

Cheryl Miller

Retired female basketball player Cheryl Miller reached the 100-point mark in high school. With Riverside Polytechnic, she set the California state record for most points in a high school career, 105 of which she scored in a single game in 1982. Playing for Murry Bergtraum High School, Epiphany Prince made basketball history in 2006 when she scored an astonishing 113 points in a high school game, surpassing Cheryl Miller’s 105 points.
